AUTOBIOGENESIS

My grand opus on devotion, accumulation, tenacity, and work. An earnest, unironic attempt at self-care. Where spontaneity and ritual converge.

“Autobiogenesis” was a promise to create each and every day, for 365 days. No sketching, no editing, just a 4x4 inch panel and the desire to make.

Panels were executed in my home studio and abroad; from some of the world’s biggest, most bustling cities, to the middle of the white, hot, desolate desert.

Materials range from handmade, fugitive inks, to torn jeans to an oat milk cappuccino. Why not?

Because we do not create alone, I’m releasing this series as part of a spontaneous collaboration between you and yours truly. Panels are sold as a “collaborative diptych” — you pick one and I select a partner for a two-panel, cradled diptych.

Why?

Because we’re better together.
