“Instructions for Living” is a series of drawings executed on scratchboard — a rigid, white kaolin clay covered panel coated in a matte black ink. The surface is meticulously scratched away in patterns containing rules, dots, dashes and pixels.

This series is part of a body of work entitled Myopic. Abandoning my reliance on ones and zeros in pursuit of tangible artifacts that are both timely and timeless, Myopic explores my preoccupation with ritual, order, learning and growth.
