20. MESA VERDE, AZ

(Alert! Start with Day 1 of our “30 Days x 30 Cities” blog series to follow this trip from the start)

Finally, the long anticipated Q&A with our favorite good-looking, super popular, world-famous, seriously humble, traveling duo formerly known as Tamara & Zan. My friends, I give you, Demanding Art...

Q: Hey folks! Oh my gosh, I'm so nervous! You two are so much taller and more attractive in person... Geez. Get it together... Ok, wow, first off, I just really want to thank you for taking the time to sit down and speak with me. I'm a really big fan, like the biggest, and like...

A: Don't make us regret this.

Q:  No wait! Ok — questions. Let's do questions... So, how long have the two of you been traveling at this point?

A: We've been on the road for 3 weeks.

Q: And you're blogging about this whole trip?

A: Obviously.

Q: And do you think anyone's had the stamina to follow your exploits this far?

A: Unlikely, we are barely hanging on ourselves.

Q: Since you've had a chance to personally explore the area, can you tell the good folks listening just what is Mesa Verde?

A. It's a bunch of ancient cliff dwellings named after the dog we met during our stay at a local KOA — which, by the way, is located in a city also named after this same dog. Must be one special dog.

Q: Um, yes, okay. Does anyone live there now, thousands of feet above the Earth?

A: Do you really expect us to answer that?

Q: As artists, you must really appreciate all the Native American sculptures that the Mesa Verde National Park has on display?

A: I think we saw that same kid climbing around in Yosemite while his parents were taking pictures on their iPad.

Q: What's your favorite thing been up to this point?

A. Next question.

Q: What are you looking forward to most?

A: Being done with this invasive interview.

Q: Speaking of which, what's your next stop?

A: Well it looks like you're just going to have to wait for it with the rest of the world, doesn't it?
